Born in Switzerland and based in Tuscany, Boris Stampfli is a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, painting, and installation. Using materials such as bronze, resin, and wood, he merges artisanal craftsmanship with a poetic, contemporary language. His hybrid figures—part human, part vegetal—explore the connection between identity and nature, revealing dreamlike, symbolic landscapes.

His research centers on the concept of roots, both physical and metaphorical, investigating the bond between the human body and the natural world.
Stampfli’s work is enriched by a background in cinematic makeup, special effects, and scenography, lending his sculptures a strong, almost performative presence. Actively engaged in the Tuscan art scene, he has received international recognition, including being named Honorary Citizen of Greve in Chianti in 2025.
